Once in a lifetime trip made possible with these fantastic guides!

This once-in-a-lifetime trip was made possible through the hard work that Birendra and his guides - So Nam, Kali, and Bhim put in into looking after us and arranging everything.
I was the group organizer for my group and my job was made easy with these guys. Our health and safety was always put first and as such all 10 of us in the group made it to base camp and back without altitude sickness or requiring helicopter evacuation.
Garlic is good to help prevent altitude sickness so So Nam ensured we had garlic soup most days to help minimize the risk of getting it!
We could not fly over to Lukla for 2 days so lost time on our trek and being a basic trekking group we were running out of time to do the trek safely. However, Birendra explored every option possible to make sure we didn't miss out on doing this once-in-a-lifetime trek.
By the end of the trip, we were all very attached to all our guides and porters.
This was well organized and most importantly we all felt safe and could trust each of them. Would definitely recommend Adventure Club Trek to anyone!

    Absolutely professional organizing

In October of 2014, I finished my 3rd Annapurna Base Camp Trek organized by Adventure Club Treks & Expeditions. As a tour guide, it's always the most important part of our job to find the most reliable local contact in any country and 10 years ago we were lucky enough to meet Birendra in Kathmandu. Since then he and his team participate in our trips to Annapurna and Everest Base Camp as well, and without any exception, we only had great experiences after all. From the porters to the guides, drivers, and local friends they are far the most helpful, knowledgeable, reliable, and not least the funniest stuff I have met in Nepal. Me and my travel agency in Hungary and are looking forward to working with Birendra and his team for the next decade!

Wonderful help in planning my time Nepal!

I arrived in Kathmandu with my itinerary for the next 2 weeks all planned out. Birendra looked over it carefully and helped me rearrange it to be more realistic. Because of his experience and knowledge of the country, he knew that it would be an extreme hassle to get from point A to point B in one day, so he convinced me to give up on point B and substitute another destination. I was very thankful for this change because otherwise, I would have been very close to the epicenter of the earthquake. After the earthquake, Birendra kept constantly in touch with me to be sure that I was not having any problems. He did this while taking care of his frightened family and leading a grassroots effort to build sturdy shelters for people whose houses were destroyed!
If I could I would rate Birendra at beyond excellent as a travel guide and trip planner!

    A Fantastic Experience

wow, what a great experience we had. I went to Nepal with my daughter and her boyfriend not knowing what to expect, our goal was to do EBC or ABC Treks. We decided on EBC & Birendra organized everything from go to woe. Our guide Chubby was fantastic & our porters as well. If you want a great experience in trekking then don't go past Adventure Club. We did a 12-day trek but next time it will be a 16-day trek at least as it was so fantastic !!
If you are after a tailored trek just for you and friends or family this is the company for you as you don't need to join a group, the trek will be tailored for you !!
thanks again Birendra & the team, I'll be back.

A great trip thanks to a great team!

A once-in-a-lifetime trip to Nepal! Birendra and his team at Adventure Club looked after us brilliantly!

In Katmandu they took us to some amazing sights, helping us to see a huge amount in a short period of time.

Up in the mountains, they got the whole team up to Everest Base Camp unscathed (no mean feat I hear) by ensuring we gradually became acclimatized to the increasingly high altitude. Because of their experience, and the expertise of the great guides (So Nam, Bhim, and Kali), we had access to some of the best tea houses for sleeping and lunch.

Where we needed or wanted to change our itinerary this was done quickly and with no complaints - nothing was too much effort for them.

Strongly recommended if you are in Nepal for trekking, or indeed any other purpose.

    Fantastic Guides

A group of ten of us went to Everest Base Camp with Adventure Club in April and it was such a great experience. I mean, the base camp trek is always going to be great regardless of how you get there but for us, it was Sonam, Bhim, and Kali, our guides, who made it incredible. I felt so looked after and they were fun, friendly, and really patient with all of us. By the time we got to where we were staying for the night our rooms were already booked and we just had to sit down and order food. No hassle at all.

The porters were great too and they only carry two bags which, for me, is really important. We saw too many porters carrying way too much weight on this trek and it means a lot to me that Adventure Club treat their porters fairly.

Our flight to Lukla was canceled twice due to weather and Birendra made sure we were taken back to our hotel safely, got our flights rebooked, and made sure we were picked up on time in the morning. He dealt with everything, we didn't have to lift a finger. Absolute professional.

All in all, it's a brilliant company that will look after you from start to finish. All you have to do is show up and walk.

The highlight of my Nepal experience. Memories for a liftetime.

My trek with Adventure Club Trek was based on my hiking experience and my interests that Birendra took into consideration, and so I went on a brief trek through the Chichipani, Chipping, and Terkeghang with Chabi who was the sweetest guide I could have ever wished for, he was very knowledgeable and friendly and made my trekking experience so awesome, with a balance of allowing me to soak up the atmosphere privately in the high peaks overlooking serene landscapes, and being great company throughout the rest of the hike, providing motivation, humor, and facts about the area. The trek itself was so great and felt like an awesome start to a hobby I can take up now in my home country. My trek was a beginner's level, which pushed me to my physical limits at times, but with Chabis's motivation and breaks in between climbs, I was able to climb to heights that surprised me. It was such a rewarding experience. Although it was at a beginner's level, it wasn't "easy" it was quite tough at times, proved to be a challenge but not impossible or excessively difficult to accomplish, and it wasn't lacking in beautiful views or dramatic scenery. At times I felt like Indiana Jones, or Lara Croft.. some kind of explorer. I even had at a time climbed over a large precipice-type rock formation on a mountain that had ferns and large boulders and made me think of like.. the land before time, or some kind of Dinosaur set. Like I was looking over land that was so natural and separated from mankind (Don't worry, there were teahouses dotted along my particular trek. I wasn't lost from civilization. Though at times, the views of the landscape were so dramatic and beautiful it inspired me to feel that way) So many beautiful views, and it felt like each day I got a different concept of Nepal's beautiful landscape - the first day it was all mountainous, hiking at first through a national park, and then through farmland that went up the mountain before having lunch at the top, and then heading along the mountain top and going down to our accommodation for the night. On the second day, we headed up a second mountain, this time again it was mountainous with the occasional farmland, before we reached the top, headed across the top witnessing spectacular views. That night we stayed high up with a great view from atop rice paddy fields. The following day we headed down through the rice paddy fields and the abundant cultivated land, down the mountain till we got to a large river, which we walked the side of for the rest of the day, seeing wild lavender at the side of the trail, and fields of bright yellow canola, contrasted with the bright blue sky, the pure gleam of the blue river and the bright white rocks and boulders that made the river bed. It was spectacular. I felt like I honestly was walking through the scene of some kind of famous European painting. I honestly couldn't thank Birendra, Chabi, and Adventure Club Treks enough. I was lucky that I had the opportunity to be able to travel to Nepal in the first place, but I felt truly blessed that I was able to experience the Trek of a lifetime. It inspired me in so many different ways. The imagery will always be ingrained in my mind.

    Best trip of my life!

I and my brother did a 2 weeks trip with Adventure Club Trek. We first went to the Mountains (saw Annarpuna not far away) and then went south. It was a great trip! Birendra was very professional and was always aware of where we were and if everything went to plan. And Chhabi, our guide: he was wonderful and helped to make the trip one of the best of my whole life :) always laughing and knew every step we took. The whole trip was planned so we could do everything we planned. We went Rafting and we had never done something like that before. It was so much fun, with a beautiful view all over the boat trip. We also made a trekking trip through the Jungle and it was raining, which made things not perfect but different. The green and the life in there are amazing. We even saw monkeys! Trekking was, as I mentioned before, the best I did in my whole life! In the end, we saw a bath and ride with elephants. We did a wood boat and went to the jungle. Saw rhinos 5 meters away and met some nice people who became friends! And then comes the prices: believe me, I've been in India but could never do so much with so less, although it's said to be expensive in the mountains. I said I would come back and I will!!
