Though Nepal was declared a secular state in April 2006, Nepal still has the highest number of Hindu i.e. 81.3% alongside Buddhist 9.0%, Muslim 4.4%, Kiratist 3.0%, Christian 1.4%, Sikhs 0.2%, Jains 0.1% and 0.6% follow other religion.
