Ghaleganun Village home-stay trek is one of the most famous trekking tours in Nepal. The trek to Ghaleganun is a mesmerizing experience, as it crosses over the beautiful Marsyangdi, Khudi, and Midi rivers, passing through dense rhododendron forests filled with chirping birds and other wildlife. On reaching the village, visitors are welcomed with garlands and tikas along with local music and dances. Traditional farewell songs are sung when guests depart. A trek to Ghaleganun is an ideal opportunity to experience the typical culture and lifestyle of the Gurung people as traditional customs are still followed in their ancient forms during births, deaths, marriages, and other important occasions.

During the home-stay in Ghaleganun, visitors can witness ancient cultural dances like Jhyaure,  Dohori, Ghantu, Why to bring, Krishna Charitra, Jhakri, and many others, accompanied by traditional music and dancers in traditional dress.   • Arrival and Departure transfer by private tourist vehicle. 
  • 3 nights’ accommodation in a standard twin shared room at a three-star hotel in Kathmandu on B/B basis
  • 1 nights’ accommodation in a standard twin shared room at a two-star hotel in Pokhara on B/B basis
  • Guided city tour in Kathmandu including temples’ / monuments’ entrance fees and private vehicle
  • 4 nights’ accommodation during the trek in a twin shared lodge (Home stay)
  • Surface transfer by tourist bus
  • Welcome and farewell dinner.
  • All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) during the trek.
  • Government licensed, English speaking guide trained in wilderness first aid
  • Porters to carry your luggage during the trek (1 porter for 2 trekkers)
  • Assistant trekking guides walking with the group to support as necessary (1 assistant guide for 4 trekkers)
  • Staff costs including their, Food, salary, accommodation, transportation and medicine.
  • Insurance covering all staff, including porters as per state law.
  • Down jacket and sleeping bag (to be returned after trip completion).
